Michelle DeCourcy and The Rocktarts - (Set time: 10:45 PM)
Michelle DeCourcy and The Rocktarts
Portland, Oregon based Michelle DeCourcy and the Rocktarts are living proof that honesty, passion and ambition prevail in Rock & Roll. Formed in 2013 as an alternative-rock cover band, the members quickly decided that composing and playing original music was more their passion. Putting pen to paper and being seduced by a certain sound, Michelle DeCourcy and the Rocktarts aligned their unwavering dedication and talent to their newly formed band. Armed with a do-it-yourself work ethic and deep love of the music, each member contributes to the band’s signature sound that will be infused in their forthcoming debut album due out in the Summer of 2015. Prepare for hook-heavy melodies, hard driving beats and the solid rock walls of sound.
The Yachtsmen - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
The Yachtsmen
The Yachtsmen are facilitators...cruise directors, if you will. Hailing back to a time when men wore their hair long, their shirts open and their shoes comfortable whilst sailing into a sun-filled seascape in search of smooth rockin’ good times, The Yachtsmen play songs and share stories that provide a canvas meant for the broad strokes of love, revelry and debauchery.

We've all heard about the genre of music called "yacht rock," which has been rediscovered by hipsters in the past few years. It was created in the mid-to-late '70s and ran its course by around 1984. This is the kind of laid-back, hedonistic "lifestyle music" that lends itself to balmy happy hours on the beach and lots of afternoon sex.

Think Michael McDonald-era Doobies, late-'70s Kenny Loggins, Boz Scaggs, Pablo Cruise, Little River Band and Christopher Cross—to name just a very few. The best of it was jazzy, funky and vocally very lush. High-energy renditions of classic songs from The Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins, Ambrosia, et al, are masterfully navigated by a crew that boasts musical affiliations with some of Portland’s finest; Wheels in the Sky (a Journey Revival), Excellent Gentlemen, International Male, Intervision, Joey Porter FunkTributes, Steely Dawn and many more.

Portland's own The Yachtsmen, features a line-up of local veterans and : Joshua Cliburn, aka Michael Vincent Michaels III, (Wheels in the Sky, Joey Porter's Funktributes, Intervision, Adult Education - Hall & Oates Tribute), Jeff Gordon(Wheels in the Sky, Excellent Gentlemen, Steely Dawn), M.R. "Laird" Franklin (Wheels in the Sky, Int'l Male), Dominic Castillo (Wheels in the Sky, Doc Castillo Jazz Unit, Ravishers), John McIsaac (Wheels in the Sky, Int'l Male) and Cory Burden (Int'l Male, D.K. Stewart)—so you know it's gonna be done RIGHT.

So Hey Nineteen, with Two Tickets to Paradise you can Steal Away to Sweet Freedom with The Yachtsmen because What A Fool Believes is that Love Will Find a Way without Sailing the smooth seas…with us…The Yachtsmen.
