La Rivera - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
La Rivera
La Rivera is the umbrella moniker for the music produced by Portland, Oregon based singer-songwriter, and accomplished guitarist Joshua Rivera. Although remaining in perpetual obscurity for a decade, Rivera has produced 6 releases and recorded close to fifty original songs varying from dark-folk fairytales to driving psychedelic epics. As he honed his skills from fledgling songwriter to deliberate music-maker he has meandered through various NW ensembles including Weathermaker, Sudden Anthem, Early Hours, and is currently debuting the new La RIVERA full band featuring Stefan Andrews ( Sugarcane), Scott DeWitt ( Lesser Bangs), and Samuel Dyer (Sudden Anthem, J-Bird & The Magic Moments) and a rotating cast of Portland's elite musicians as special guests.
Bird Concerns - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Bird Concerns
Bird Concerns is a Los Angeles based garage rock band. Bird Concerns began as a collaboration between Seattle based Marcus Buser, and SoCal native Travis Meador. The two songwriters bonded over a mutualappreciation of surfing and Simon & Garfunkel while studying jazz and classical music in college. With the addition of drummer Cooper Wolken and guitarist Jake Sucher the band has grown to a full rock and roll quartet with four part vocal arrangements, interweaving guitars, and infectious grooves.
Yaquina Bay - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Yaquina Bay
Layering distorted keys and guitar, sweeping violins, and a thunderous rhythm section, the band sculpts a wall of sound praised for its intoxicating melodies and grandiose arrangements. Led by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Chris Ward, Yaquina Bay speaks of heartbreak and joy, permanence and instability. It is a sound that is both nostalgic and fresh, familiar and new.

What began as a bedroom recording project has evolved into a powerful live touring act. Two full West Coast tours and countless performances in their home state of Oregon have secured Yaquina Bay as "the definition of a hard-working band" (Salem Weekly). It's a description the band has strived to be affiliated with year after year, night after night, show after show. Past Lives, the bands newest record, explores a musical landscape that distills Ward's elegant songwriting using the dynamics of their robust live show. Recorded in three unique spaces, entirely by the band themselves, Past Lives uses lush and energetic instrumentation to weave its nine tracks into one cohesive work. The album marks a major shift in their sound.
